    Having worked in the A/V industry, HDMI is the weakest video cable of all, there is a reason why pro video still uses SDI

        DVI-D is my favourite. Same screw in mount of VGA, but digital with pins that require a hammer to bend.

        VGA cables literally had screws on the sides to keep them in the holes they belong in

    I had this happen to a mouse dongle on my work laptop once, the IT guy ripped it out with a pair of pliers.
