Hi everyone, just a friendly reminder that guns are legal in the United States for the time being.
See the problem is people see the word “Nazi” and (for some convenient reason) think people are literally talking about a card carrying member of the NSDAP, which obviously doesn’t exist after 1945.
Substitute “fascist authoritarian” for “Nazi” in more modern contexts and it makes more sense.
I got a pretty suspicious email a few weeks ago and flagged it. Later day that our sysadmin was like “oh hey that was legit, <vendor> has started using a new marketing firm so they look like that.” I just said “Sounds like spam to me I’m going to keep on flagging it.” and he just responded with a frown emoji. Full disclosure we’re decent work buddies and I haven’t actually gotten any more emails from that company so he may have actually filtered it lol.
Right? OS arguments over Thanksgiving dinner sounds like kind of a good time.
Goddamned right, our government threw its own citizens under the bus so pharmaceutical companies could make another billion. Then imprisoned the people who got addicted.
The punishment for not being a profit producing indentured servant? Homelessness.
The punishment for homelessness? Jail.
The punishment in jail? Slavery.
This is actually the beauty of the fediverse to me.
Anyone with the know-how (or will to learn) can fork some code and start implementing changes they want from their service. It’s always been one of the biggest draws of *nix for me (and FOSS in general). I love the really granular control of being able to configure pretty much every setting or feature to the users liking.
They have a timeline they want to work with.
0-6M signatures is just organizing/coalition building and figuring out skillsets.
6-10M signatures create demands and plan events, work on strike dates, keep organizing, more outreach.
11M signatures strike on the chosen day, mutual aid networks work to support strikers, educate new strikers and volunteers.
Any particular reason?
I bet you could get some free eggs out of the deal if you were a bit more neighborly.
Feed costs like $10/50lb bag and lasts about a month, in that time I can get between 150-200 eggs, 150 eggs / 12 = 12.5 dozen, 12 dozen eggs at * $3 = $36 worth of eggs; not 100 times more at all.
That’s before you even start eating them. They can lay during the winter but they do stop laying when they’re about 5 so after that it might be dumplings time.
Think about it, if it weren’t economical to raise chickens and sell the eggs nobody would do it. It’s a business because it can make money. They’re one of the easiest, cheapest animals to raise and care for and a great source of protein.
Chickens are cheap to house and feed, more people should become familiar with where their food comes from and get a handful.
Please don’t vandalize their JarCar it has my mom’s brain tissue in it.
Should’ve let WhistlinDiesel “test” it.
People will definitely fuck with autonomous cars though so you have to plan for it.
The United States is so far gone it’s sad.
I agree public education is abysmal.
Right, arson is generally illegal but when we start talking about “crimes” we can also bring up “morality” and “ethics” and it becomes a much more productive discussion.
Women are no longer able to get adequate medical care and my trans friends can no longer be their true selves. The family that runs the grocery store down the street is scared of anybody in a blue uniform. You’re either willfully malicious or so uninformed that your opinion on it is useless.
That you pretend to care and to be objective is a joke. We can all see exactly what you are.
The commercial in question.
