My personal experience with GDM was full of issues with AMD GPU, crashes, inability to go back from sleep, etc. I moved to KDE (and SDDM) and all the issues were gone as well.
Not complete—lists only five of the most common DMs, so it’s missing Entrance, TDM, and a bunch of mostly small, console-oriented oddballs.
It’s a complete guide for beginners, they never claim to be a complete list of display managers.
